Takale to get behind wheel after two years
19 April, 2022: Thailand has been a happy hunting ground for Pune’s international rally driver Sanjay Takale and that is the country he has chosen to relaunch his rally career, which came to a halt following several logistical issues arising out of Covid pandemic.

18 June 2018: Sanjay Takale overcame a wrong selection of tyres to finish a creditable second in the 4×4 Open class in round 1 of the Thailand Pre-Rally Championship in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Sanjay Takale placed 14th overall in WRC 3 category
30 July 2018: India’s Sanjay Takale created history as he became the first Indian driver to finish a round in the WRC 3 category of FIA World Rally Championship. Sanjay and his British co-driver Darren Garrod took the 14th spot after 23 special stages covering a distance of nearly 320km in the four-day Neste Rally Finland.
